How everything started
Lords is a family-run business. Russell began his journey in the infamous Hatton Garden, London, in the 1970s before moving to our current location in Shenfield, Essex.
We have created some of the most spectacular pieces of jewellery using the finest sourced diamonds and gemstones for well-known celebrities and royals around the globe. The level of craftsmanship is pure perfection, and every piece of jewellery we make is faultless.
All of our fine jewellery is made in-house at our jewellery store in Shenfield, Essex, where our workshop is located. Russell and Bobby can also transform ashes into jewellery and create hinged screw rings for clients who may need a ring made this way for medical reasons.

With over 49 years of experience in handmade jewellery mounting, Russell can create anything. He specialises in bespoke design, crafting fabulous pieces of jewellery and working with you to develop ideas that you’ll love to see transformed into something special. You’ll enjoy embarking on the jewellery design process with Russell.

Bobby Lord – Watch specialist & Diamond Mounter
Bobby’s knowledge of watches is second to none. If you want to speak to someone about buying or selling a watch, Bobby can help you. He began his jewellery apprenticeship at 16 years old and now creates the majority of the jewellery at Lords alongside Russell. You can speak to Bobby about anything jewellery-related, including repairs.

Having worked in the jewellery industry since she was 17, Sarah’s passion lies in jewellery, especially when it comes to helping her wonderful clients choose their perfect piece or redesigning their treasured jewellery into something they will love even more.

We can melt and reuse metals if it’s vital for sentimental reasons to incorporate them into your new piece. However, for various reasons, we don’t recommend this unless sentimentality is the primary concern. If you’re looking to make the jewellery more cost-effective, we can purchase the scrap metal from you to help make the piece more affordable.
Yes, we the mounting in house and we have a visible workshop.
Not always—any work carried out incurs a cost, but it’s not necessarily more expensive, especially if we are using some of your own materials or stones.
