Bangles that sit too loosely on the wrist might seem comfortable, but they can cause hidden problems. When a bangle catches on something like a door handle, it puts a lot of strain on the clasp. Over time, this stress can cause the small metal tab that locks the bangle in place to snap off inside, leaving it unable to close securely.

When this happens, the repair isn’t as simple as just reattaching the clasp. We have to laser on a new piece of metal so we can pull out the broken tab, carefully clean both the tab and the bangle, rebuild the fitting, and then reshape and polish the piece. It’s delicate work, but it means your bangle can be restored properly and worn again with confidence.

If you’ve noticed your bangles feeling loose, it’s best to have them checked before they get damaged. And if they already have broken clasps, bring them in to us at Lords we can repair them and return them to you looking and fitting like new.

This is one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever worked on.

Faye came into the shop to buy a necklace for her daughter, but while she was here we noticed her engagement ring needed some attention and her wedding ring had never sat nicely alongside it. We spoke about remaking both, and when we showed her some of our past pieces containing ashes, the idea came to life.

We created a brand new engagement ring and wedding ring that now fit together perfectly, with two small chambers holding the ashes of her child she sadly lost, one on the outside she can see, and one on the inside she can feel. These rings will carry that memory with her every day.

We worked closely with our client to bring this vision to life, a three stone engagement ring with a soft pink sapphire at its heart, framed by crisp white diamonds and finished in warm rose gold.

The shoulders are micro set with diamonds for added sparkle from every angle, all crafted with balance and elegance in mind.

He came to us with a clear intention but gave us the space to shape the finer details. The result is something uniquely theirs, a design that feels personal, meaningful and quietly distinctive.
